#ReadyOrNotHereICome picks up as the first film ends and throws Grace into another Satanic family power struggle with worldwide implications and adds her sister Faith to the mix. It’s equally outrageous and funny as the first with the stakes increased. A worthy sequel. #STMM
#ProjectHailMary is a feel good story of a reluctant astronaut sent on a mission to save the planet and meeting an alien. It’s gorgeous, fast paced, and Rocky the alien is cute as can be. See it and smile. #STMM
#undertone is a horror film about a woman dealing with a dying mother as she navigates a messy personal life and remotely records her paranormal podcast when things become all too real. It would have worked better as a podcast. #STMM
#TheBride is an odd film. Visually unique and told with a weird story style. I don’t know if it’s good or bad. It’s a thinker. #STMM
#Pillion will be a hard sell for most audiences as it’s the story of a submissive man falling in love with a dominant biker in a complicated 24/7 D/s relationship. But at its core, the film is about love, self discovery and acceptance. It’s a brave movie. #STMM
#PsychoKiller follows a highway patrol officer on the hunt for the serial killer responsible for the death of a fellow officer who is also her husband. It brings nothing new to the genre but has some decent kills. It’s fine. #STMM

The film #Ironlung is based on a video game where the skies have gone dark. A prisoner is welded inside a sub and dropped into the blood ocean of a mysterious moon to save humanity. It’s claustrophobic and tense, getting off to a good start but wearing out its welcome. #STMM
#28YearsLaterTheBoneTemple is a tense direct sequel to “28 Years Later.” A roving group of psychopaths all called Jimmy and a doctor developing a friendship with an Alpha clash is a terrific movie. #STMM
#WeBuryTheDead follows a group of civilian volunteers in the aftermath of an explosion that has caused widespread death and random zombies. It sounds a bit silly but the story of love, betrayal and redemption works thanks to great work from Daisy Ridley and her co stars. #STMM
I saw #Anaconda2025 and it’s as dumb as a sack of hammers. I actually felt bad for Thandiwe Newton being in this turd. It has some sparse laughs but is so haphazard in construction and story I can’t recommend anyone see it. #STMM
#AvatarFireAndAsh is beautiful looking and the 3D is immersive. The story is very similar to the second Avatar film and I wonder if Cameron has ever met a script editor. It’s not a bad movie just I wonder why it exists. #STMM
#FackhamHall is funnier than it has any right to be. The send up of British aristocracy in the early 1930’s is a combination of Downton Abbey and Naked Gun with word play, sex jokes and sight gags a plenty. #STMM
#WakeUpDeadMan is playing for a limited time in theaters. Benoit Blanc is back to solve the mystery of the death of a priest. Daniel Craig is again brilliant as the southern sleuth solving a seemingly impossible murder. #STMM
While #WickedForGood doesn’t have the toe tappers of the first film, it has a great deal of heart and a resonant message of acceptance that feels good. #STMM
#Keeper, the latest from Osgood Perkins, is a devious story of parasitic love and its consequences. Takes a minute to rev up but delivers a satisfying ending. #STMM
#PredatorBadlands deftly merges both the Predator and Alien franchises without a xenomorph in sight in director Dan Trachtenberg’s fun and exciting sci-fi action adventure. #STMM
Yorgos Lanthimos is back with the mind bending #Bugonia. A conspiracy theory obsessed man and his special needs cousin kidnap the CEO of a company they are convinced is an alien. Fantastic dark comedy. #STMM
Just saw Guillermo del Toro’s #Frankenstein in a theater before it starts streaming on Netflix. Enjoyed the gothic horror and especially Jacob Elordi’s monster design and redemption. If you can, see it on a big screen. #STMM
#BlackPhone2 returns the Grabber (Ethan Hawke) back from the dead to haunt the dreams of him next victim. It’s a bloody and chilling sequel. #STMM
#KissOfTheSpiderWoman is the anti-fascist technicolor queer musical I didn’t know I needed right now. Diego Luna, Tonatiuh and Jennifer Lopez spin a hypnotic tale of song, dance, love, tragedy and revolution in an Argentine prison in 1983. It’s glorious! #STMM
#TheSmashingMachine tells the story of early MMA fighter Mark Kerr starring Dwayne Johnson in a starring role that stretches his acting chops far beyond what we’ve seen before. It’s not just about violence but the man behind it. Very good film. #STMM
#OneBattleAfterAnother imagines a world not much different from our own with gripping performances by the entire cast. It’s a major achievement in cinema. #STMM
#Him is getting bad reviews but I enjoyed it. It’s take on winning at all costs, including selling your soul, worked for me, with a great cast. It may not be perfect but it’s fun. Enjoy. #STMM
#TheLongWalk is a grueling, emotional journey that wrings the life out of the audience as the cast walks through the story. Cooper Hoffman is brilliant and surrounded by an equally talented group of young actors. Devastating. #STMM
#TheConjuringLastRites is supposed to be the last in the series but there is already talk of prequels with younger actors taking over as the Warrens. This alleged final chapter is fine and that’s about all. #STMM
#CaughtStealing is a fun, sexy, dark crime drama set in late 90’s New York. Austin Butler and Zoe Kravitz sizzle with chemistry and the rest of the cast is brilliant. See it now! #STMM
