Screencap of ao3: “Jesus fuck, will you two zip it?” Blitzø snapped, staring down at a piece of paper with a haphazard chart scribbled over it as Loona and Moxxie bickered in the background. They, of course, blatantly ignored his polite request and continued to bitch and moan back and forth about a call that Loona allegedly missed. Honestly, looking at their schedule, Blitzø couldn’t be too worried that Loona missed a measly phone call, they were fucking booked up. “Mox!” Blitzø snapped louder, and Moxxie held up a finger for him to pause, which made Blitzø glare. “So step up your game,” Moxxie concluded, and Loona narrowed her eyes and flattened her ears, growling. She opened her mouth to respond, but Blitzø cut her off, “One second, sweetie. You can lay into Moxxie again in a minute, first, I need him to sort this shit out for me,” Blitzø said with a huff. “And then- where’s that fucking budget paperwork I asked for, Moxxie?” “Sir! This is exactly what I’ve been saying, Loona is the one that takes the calls so why should it be you and I balancing the schedule? I already have to try to keep the budget in check, it’s just- too much fricking paperwork for any one man to stand,” Moxxie said. “Which is why we share the duty, Mox,” Blitzø scoffed. “Oh, bullshit, the last three times you didn’t do jack and I had to sort the rest on my own! It would make more sense for Loona to do it.” “It ain’t happening, fuckhead. I don’t get paid enough for what I do now, I’m not doing more shit for free,” Loona said. “Compelling point,” Blitzø said, and Moxxie threw up his hands.
A screencap of Ao3: “Hey, boss, we got a visitor,” Millie interrupted, poking her head into the room. “Oh, uh. Kay?” Blitzø cocked a brow. “It’s not a client, is it?” “Nope!” Millie cheered. “Hello, Blitzø,” a very familiar voice chimed, as Stolas ducked into the room. So fucking tall. Moxxie looked at Blitzø from the side and Loona perked her brows. Blitzø… hadn’t exactly told them much about the fact he’d been seeing Stolas again. Not, like, not in the sense they used to be ‘seeing’ each other, but, that they’d run into each other a few times. Blitzø saw him around, literally, that was all. “I was in the neighbourhood and decided to just drop by and… say hi,” Stolas said, placing a large iced coffee down in the middle of Blitzø’s desk. “Oh. Uh,” Blitzø started. “Thanks,” he said, taking the coffee in his hand. “Well, hi.” “Hello,” Stolas smiled. “Uh…” Moxxie said. “Don’t you two have a schedule to get sorted? Chop chop,” Blitzø said, and Loona and Moxxie shared a look that was decidedly knowing. Blitzø hated it. Still, they left his office still wearing bizarre expressions on their faces as Blitzø drank his iced coffee in an obnoxiously loud fashion. Stolas, meanwhile, perched in the chair that was in front of Blitzø’s desk for clients, and sipped what Blitzø guessed was probably his usual tea of choice.
A screencap of Ao3: “So… business is booming indeed?” Stolas asked, and Blitzø leaned back. “Yeah, it is, actually. We’ve been getting consistent numbers and really- getting our name out there in general, I think. Moxxie’s all on about expansion, lately, but I… not that I want to play it safe or anything, I just think we should grow at a manageable pace, make sure we don’t bite off too much to chew to begin with. Stabilize the numbers, first, maybe it’s a temporary spike.” “How very wise indeed,” Stolas said. “Don’t put the cart before the horse.” Blitzø grinned, almost manically for a second there, slapping his hand down on the table “Exactly!” Stolas smiled fondly and Blitzø tried to ignore the way it made his chest all warm. He chalked it up to a well-placed horse reference, that was all. “You always have had a good sense for business,” Stolas said, humming before he sipped his tea again. “I’m very glad to see it’s been going well.” “Yeah,” Blitzø said, leaning back again as he drank his iced coffee. “And- your shit has been… superb. Really knocked Angel off his pedestal.” “Oh, nonsense,” Stolas said with a self-deprecating little laugh. “Angel gave me his pedestal.” “Yeah, what- he was drunkeningly rambling but I’m… a little unclear on what the fuck is even going on here, Stols? Since when did you… need a job, exactly?” Blitzø asked, once again feeling something he disliked well up in his chest. He tried to shove it down with another gulp of coffee. “Ah, yes, well,” Stolas started, clearing his throat. “There have been some tabloid and news articles regarding the matter but, to make a long story short, in my pursuing of a divorce some things got… complicated. And, to make it all simpler, I decided to give up the Palace and many of my royal responsibilities,” Stolas said. He laughed again, but it was weak, “One could say I was disowned, a tad?” “Disowned?” Blitzø asked.
