His thoughts arid.
Dust were his emotions.

Somewhere in the desert
A small flower would not quit.
There was a lingering thought.
A storm.
A deluge.
Gathering were the clouds
Like a riot on the horizon.

Long lost, recently
We all awoke to sleep

Belly burns
