Everything about this place is amiss. Jeongguk's hair stands on end at the sheer wrongness of it. It's unsettling being reminded of the lives that were lived in this space before the world ended. To be hit in the face with the knowledge that everyone who Jeongguk crossed paths with here is now long dead, only the remnants of their cold coffee cups and paperwork to remember them by. The wind swirls around the empty room, slipping in through the cracks in the bricks and splinters in the glass. It gets trapped inside, nowhere to escape to as it dances around the empty building, carrying a deathly chill wherever it goes. It only adds to the bleakness, a draft so frigid that it can only exist in a place that humans have long since abandoned.
