Ah yes, the Box Art of this game. The incredible box art that has Marx being the best Marx he can be. Speaking of Marx, let's get on with him. It's been a while since I drew Marx but now the menace is back but as a hero to defend Planet Pop Star. I always enjoy drawing him and now our boy is the hero of this game. Truly a great step up from a mere playable character. (don't fact check me on Kirby Air Riders' Road Trip Mode) Literally just yesterday that I drew the beloved Egg Wizard and now he's back in action with a second role, he is playable but he also appears as helper in certain levels, using his magical abilities to aid Marx on the mission. He is happy to help his friend. Since I drew him a lot of times with zero to no change outside of Holidays stuff, he is the same old Magolor that we knew him ever since I started drawing him. But the person I haven't drawn lately is Taranza. Taranza is back in action as a second helper/playable character. Taranza can use his spider magical abilities to aid Marx in certain situations where his powers are needed. I haven't drawn Taranza lately and not with his normal outfit so I am glad that I am able to draw him once more. Susie Haltmann blasts onto the scene with the third helper/playable character. Susie Haltmann serves as a minor antagonist but reluctantly joins the team when there's a new threat that might destroy Planet Pop Star, and what's a point of a business if there's no Star to rule over. So she joins Marx against her better judgement. She is able to use her advanced technology to aid Marx in which he can't. She joins in her self-interest since she's a corporate CEO/President of the Haltmann Works Company. She is also armed with a blaster and moves quickly, being the fastest out of the group. Gryll flies down on her broom to join the fray. While not liking Marx nor Magolor, she joins the team regardless. And that's all for now! I'll be back with more drawings. Hello everyone! I am working on a drawing but for a mean time, I am proud to show of this one because it's related to my favorite trio in Kirby, the Wave 3 trio from Kirby Star Allies, Magolor, Taranza, and Susie Haltmann from Kirby Return to Dreamland, Kirby Triple Deluxe, and Kirby Planet Robot, which they all reappear in Kirby Star Allies as part of Wave 3 update. (The Three Mage-Sisters don't count but they're a trio, although they didn't appear in Kirby Air Riders) but there's a twist, they decided to change outfits! let's see what they're wearing! Magolor is wearing his Magolor Epilogue outfit from the remake of RTDL. Although the colors are oddly different than how they are supposed to look in RTDLD, and obviously the design isn't completely the same but it is still a reference to Magolor Epilogue. Taranza is looking less pleased with his outfit though. As it is a reminder of many attempts to bring Sectonia back to life. It is a Dark Taranza outfit for Team Kirby Clash. The design isn't one to one as Dark Taranza's design is different but it's more accurate color wise. Last but not least is Susie Haltmann wearing an outfit that is quite familiar. It's none other than Parallel Susie from Team Kirby Clash. The design is actually almost on point, minus the sliver hairclip, which is something that Parallel Susie lacks, as Susie Haltmann never leaves her hair clip out of sight. she is also aware of her parallel twin existence. Page 130 of the Kirby Art and Style Collection Artbook depicts Queen Sectonia, with her twin scepters, presenting her hierarchy topping beauty to us all! Queen Sectonia is a beauty-obsessed insectoid monarch and magician, and the primary antagonist of Kirby: Triple Deluxe, making her debut as the final boss of that game in various forms. Queen Sectonia is a power-hungry and half-crazed tyrant who sought to subjugate all of Floralia after gazing for too long into a certain mirror. She first appears in-game after Kirby beats Taranza, who was the queen's loyal servant, and Masked Dedede, who Taranza had been puppeteering. After she is defeated in battle, she combines with the Dreamstalk for her second phase. In The True Arena, this form is replaced with Soul of Sectonia, who has an additional phase. (Wikirby.com) Queen Sectonia used to more closely resemble Taranza, but parasitized countless hosts and changed her body each time, and eventually used her magic to inhabit the body of a large, lavishly decorated wasp. She bears a primarily blue and yellow-striped face and body, with a pink heart on her thorax. Her size and color scheme reflect the characteristics of the female Joro spider. The Joro spider is associated with the myth of the jorōgumo, a female arachnid yōkai that can shapeshift into a beautiful woman; this likely served as a major source of inspiration for Queen Sectonia, who once resembled a spider and transformed into a more beautiful appearance. Her design might also be a reference to the "wasp waist", a fashion trend that consisted of narrowing the waist through the use of corsets and girdle, named after a petiole (a two-segmented body joined by a thin abdoment) characteristic to wasps. Page 131 of the Kirby Art and Style Collection Artbook depicts rough sketches of the design process surrounding Queen Sectonia and her second phase. Queen Sectonia is probably my favourite Boss character in the series, she made me realise that sometimes striving for more than you are can hurt the people around you who love you. It is good to be authentic, it is good to live independently, but if the people who love you are not hurting you and you try to push them away by purposefully changing yourself into a worse person, and wish to take the world over, and make everyone else feel your disdain for your insecurities, I speak as a Trans Woman, do not do that. You should practice self love, but you should realise who you are in collaboration with those that love you, and in that process, learn what you love about others, the world, and what it can offer in it's boundless beauty.

Kirby Triple Deluxe just turned 12 years old and it was/still is my first time playing a Kirby game. While I did get exposed to Kirby via the *drumroll* internet and Smash Bros, Kirby Triple Deluxe was my first Kirby game (even though I did wanted Kirby: Planet Robobot but that's a tale for another time) It's also the first Kirby game and game in general that I 100% completed because I felt like it (it was hell, f*ck you Dedede Drum Dash) I used to make big projects with my drawings but uhh... Yeah I don't feel it anymore (also it's a heavy process with a lot of time put into it) so here's a simple drawing that still took a lot of time into it. Kirby and King Dedede pose happily while Taranza (using his Kirby Air Riders design although it's not that different and ya can't tell from my drawing) looks depressingly on the flower since the big flower was Queen Sectonia before Hypernova Kirby kills her with a mouth laser. Kirby Triple Deluxe has one of the best and f*ck up lore I have ever seen in a Kirby game... A KIRBY GAME! anyhow... yeah don't judge the series by it's looks because holy crap it's not all sunshinin and rainbows in Kirby..which is ironic because it's Kirby. That's all I have for now, working on duos and character bios, until then: I hope y'all have a good one! and I'll see y'all next time.
