A brochure entitled 'Advantages of the temperance policy,' issued by the United Kingdom Temperance & General Provident for Mutual Life Assurance
1952 brochure for the firm established in 1840 as the UK Total Abstinence Life Association. It's possible that someone with a temperance policy might still be alive today - UK Provident survived until 1986, after all.
