Flavor Text: Thousands of years ago, the continent was destroyed and the super-civilization was lost. Some fled to space to escape ruin, where they developed the Cyberworld, and built a unique civilization of their own: Den City.
...Now the doom of Den City is at hand.
A countdown marking each second until the end appeared throughout the city.
A city encased inside of a large dome floating outside of Earth's orbit. A gigantic time displaying 00:30:00 in red has appeared on the city, and a space-station like part near the top of the domed city appears to be lit aflame, making the entire space-colony resemble a bomb, the fuse lit. In context of this card pack, this is the start of the story, where Shadaloo (the terrorist organization of the Street Fighter series) has set a bomb to destroy the entire city.
The concept of a story revolving around Shadaloo terrorizing the earth with a moon/satellite based location is likely meant to evoke Street Fighter V's cinematic story mode "A Shadow Falls", and their plan known as Operation C.H.A.I.N.S.
This is meant to be the TEPPEN universe’s interpretation of Den City, the main setting of several Mega Man Battle Network games, the hometown of protagonists Lan & MegaMan.EXE. In TEPPEN, things are altered quite drastically. The Mega Man X series took place thousands of years in the past from the current timeline, in an ancient advanced civilization. Mysteriously, all the robots of that civilization vanished or shut down. The humans of that civilization fled into space (likely in a reference to the plot of Mega Man X8 and the “Jakob Project”, a plan to migrate humans to outer space to escape the ongoing Maverick wars).
The TEPPEN version of Mega Man’s timeline goes: Classic (even further in the past) -> X (thousands of years in the past) -> Battle Network (present day)
The Mega Man Zero games are occuring concurrently on an alternate version of Earth based on EDN-3rd from the Lost Planet series. Legends’ placement is unknown.
