I'm finally finishing #TerminationShock and hoping.. in the end... for some good news? How science fiction inspires science maybe they'll get some ideas from #NealStephenson & keep us cool. It would be bloody brilliant if needing to understand facts &science was a req. to hold power in the West.
We could BUT this is unlikely to be the optimal solution and I certainly couldn't support it unless scientific opinion changed wildly from where it is now. There is a high risk consequence of #TerminationShock. :-( Lots of research is needed first!
