My final 2 tiny #tetrapakprints for the recent IG challenge. The prompts were: "whistling swans" and "bits of string". I am smitten by the technique and hope to fit in time for more although my puppets call out to be animated.

Kittenears. Scalpelling away the foil surface of a tetrapak plate to reveal the cardboard base gives lovely blacks. In this case it also saved a bad drawing. I got rid of the hash-up and turned the result into another image.

Printing press bed being lined up with the paper to transfer the print to. We’re using the ruler grid of the cutting board for reference

The idea around this print is to get a feel for my new drypoint needle. My line work is terrible lol. Also tried to start thinking about print placement. Tried to make use of the grid on my cutting board to line up the plate and the paper. Pressure is better. Tea break! 4/
