This picture is a close up of a Mason block building that once upon a time must have been called The Paradise Cafe. That is the name above the door stenciled onto the white mason blocks, which heavy blue screen tint in this version due to the use of a filter.l. This particular version of the image is cropped in a rectangular fashion so only the upper half of the doorway is seen. The door is open and in the shadows you can see graffiti on the wall in the window in the upper part of the door has blinds that have been severely damaged. To the left of the doorway is graffiti of a stick figure into the right is a rather ragged heart with the words quoted in the main text of this post stenciled inside.
"Never be with anyone who tries to silence the art inside you." (Stenciled on wall in lower right of image, taken during my nomadic years during peak pandemic, near Tucumcari, New Mexico.) #urbanruins #splendidisolation #NewMexico #thatlonesomewhistle
