HEARTBEATS by The Knife is one of those songs that you hear once and it immediately gets lodged in your brain forever. The drum groove is so simple but so satisfying. And the bass line is one of the greatest ever recorded.

I would forgive a lot of its issues since it is a directorial & writing debut, but considering the names associated with & backing it, #TheKnife really has no excuse for its execution. A film made for superficial social commentary that ends up limping to its conclusion. 2/5🔪
