Excellent book! R.F Kuang also wrote the #ThePoppyWars #Trilogy . Power through this book the story-line might surprise you. R.F. Kuang is also one of my favorite new authors. Intelligent writing about history..

Good action, pretty compelling characters, though a little confusing at times. There's a lot going on here (thematically and plot wise) and I'm looking forward to seeing where the series goes.

I just finished The Poppy Wars by R.F. Kuang. Three amazing books! And it honestly couldn't have ended any other way. I also liked getting Nezha's perspective in the short story The Drowning Faith. I definitely need to pick up more books from this author!
