Decided to adapt the elevator section of pacman revenge 1-4 into this game.

Here my early prototype of the second fight with Dunmo Dufric. The main difference with the first encounter is that you have to use these grapple-missiles to chase after him.

Pretty much done with the art for planet creeve (at least the exterior segments), through im a bit dry when it comes to designing the ennemies.
I need some creative robot designs to fit the whole lava and sawblade asthetic of the area.

the sprites and attacks are now mostly done. Just need to do some tweaks and balancing.
Its currently easy to trick yourself into a loop of safe but innefectual attacks.

Went and closed-off the arena, replacing the lava pits with giant sawblades.
Much of the sprites and attacks are missing so fight still got lots of work to do.

Okay i' ve been thinking about some of the criticism, and i decided to make the game a tad more lenient by having the last heal before a boss also give an extra life.

I' ve been receiving some criticism on #thelegallydistinct where the rope jump was said to be pretty unintuitive to use.
It' s a bit tricky to fix as you are meant to be able to jump and drop easily but i' ve been changing it so that jumping uses a double press instead of the up key.

His second phase trigger at 40% health rather than 60 like other bosses since he becomes so much harder to hit with the clones.

I added some backup dancers to Minty Mike fight. I think they do a good job of keeping things engaging during the gaps in his moveset and synergise well with phase 2
