Developed by the indie team Positive Impact Games, The Regreening is a simulator about bringing back nature to a ruined world. Despite being a debut game, many of the individuals in the team are veterans of the gaming industry. The devs have worked on games like Path of Exile and Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord. The game takes a lot of inspiration the visual style of Soilpunk. The style is based around flora and nature working in harmony with technology in a symbiotic relationship. Soilpunk emphasizes the feeling of hope, of a better tomorrow where two differing worlds of machines and life work in tandem.
