Chrysise is a master culinarian. She learned very early when she got access to Ishgard to further her astrologian studies. To help pay for her room and board, she helped in the kitchens. Eventually, worked her way up to be the main chef. She's forcing Sid to learn now too.

Sidurgu gave Chrysise the nicknames of "Soul Star" or "Starlight" with her lighting up his and Rielle's lives. While she is an astrologian, it also fits in reverse. Sid is her light as she has been dealing with a lot of personal issues.
