Two huge brown bears fight in the shallow waters of Brooks Falls in Alaska. These bears will try to fight by damaging the lower jaw of their contender, and if successful, will lead to the death of the bear because they'll no longer be able to defend themselves or eat.

A large female brown bear sits on the edge of Brooks Falls falls, waiting for salmon to jump into her mouth or grasp. With the previous images of the bears fighting, I think this female was injured and ended up being eaten by her fellow bears after getting in a fight over this particular spot. She was a contender in the world's fattest bear competition put in by the park.

Two large birds of prey take off from the tree tops in park at Brooks Falls lodge. One beginning to take off, and the other already in the air with wings extended. The birds are contrasted by a fog bank behind them over the water (not visible).

Otis, a large brown bear and I believe a winner of the world's fattest bear competition, tries to get back into his "office" a large whirlpool at Brooks Falls, Alaska. Otis will sit in his office, sleep/hunting, waiting for a salmon to get close enough he can easily grab and feast on the fish.
