The Paladin—” The knight squealed as Laela increased the pressure at the blade’s tip. “Would lecture me and send me on my way. And you’d be dead.” Laela paused, eying him from head to toe, then smirked. “Run along now.” Laela withdrew the dagger just enough for the knight to dart away.

Today's snippet comes from the very angry, very stabby, dagger-toting, no-nonsense-taking character, that of Laela. Not a princess, stuck with Orn, what's an elf to do?

A whole metric crap-ton of a lot of stabbing, if she had her way. Thankfully, she doesn't, at least...not *yet*.
