bring two things unrelated together to created something new, i feel like it’s similar to the artists voice. chatgpt is too specific and wants to create similar things. #hwa7 #thirdvoice
i think the “third voice” is something that exists between the creator and the viewer, where meaning isn’t controlled by either one. it’s different from the artist’s voice because it depends on interpretation, and it’s not mechanical like GPT, it emerges through the experience #hwa7 #thirdvoice
I think the Third Voice is the message that the viewer takes away and their own interpretation of what they saw/heard. It differs from the artist's voice because not everyone is going to interpret a piece of art the same way. That’s why I think the third voice relates to the viewer #hwa7 #thirdvoice

The third voice would be an intermediary that bridges the two, but the bridge is held up by one rope or cracked in places. There is a connection to be made, a middle to be found, but it is not perfect and is held up by the two concrete "Voices" on either side

Sometimes I chose a random word to answer GPT with in the original interview, random, but not unintentional. Going in with the intention of finding something in the chaos is important, rather than putting things that clash and remaining hopeful.

The third voice, then, is aware of these patterns, expectations, perceptions, and understandings. Once two layers of patterns seem to speak to different things, it must be clear that there is no unintentional choice.

My own thoughts, perceptions, and understandings. When GPT remixed my voice, it was a little bit of us both. It was GPT's work at voicing over my voice, as if it were my voice. Even in the interview, GPT would fall into a pattern.

To me, the third voice is something that emerges through opposition, only when it becomes clear that the opposition is intentional. Like the early stages of SME1, when GPT was interviewing me, my responses started as my own voice.
