This Saxon grade II listed church in Thundridge, Herts, was in the news recently, as it's been saved from demolition after a grant matched raised funds. Rumoured to be haunted, after several children died there in the 1700's.

The Saxon Church of St Mary and All Saints in Thundridge, near Cold Christmas. Dating back over 1000 years, this is one of 6000 moated sites, although the moat was enclosed in 1990.
