“The relative lack of robust scientific evidence on heated tobacco products [is] particularly striking. Most of the studies of heated tobacco products are small and relatively short term – they don’t give us a clear picture of their effects.”
We examined 40 clinical trials on the health effects of Heated Tobacco Products #HTPs and found issues with the quality of many of them.
Most of the trials were very short, many were held under unrealistic conditions and the majority were conducted by #tobaccocompanies.
