He sees two sword, his own with a black and white sheath and a mapple leave on the handle and a sageo and black and red tsuka. And Tomo's sword, with black sheath and a white and black tsuka. Tomo's vision is lit next to Kazuha's. Kazuha is in shock from what he can see but also what he can hear and smell. He's thinking "this scent... this breathing..." Then we see a body next to his own, a hand full of scar and calluses one inch from Kazuha's hand damaged by the blacksmith's craft. "This warmth" Kazuha is shaking, in shock, hoping, his eyes full of tears. He turns his head to see the person sleeping next to him. His eyes widen.
Tomo is in front of him, their white cat sleeping on his chest. Kazuha put his hand over his mouth to muffle his sobs. This view is wonderful, amazing. The light is finaly reaching Kazuha, body and mind, he's crying of joy, shaking.
Kazuha jumps on Tomo to embrace him tightly, crying. Next to the bed lay a note from Wanderer "I see you coming so let's put things straight: no need to thank me, you dumbass. Just make sure you two stay alive. Have fun." Tomo is waking up: Mh...mh ? Kitten ? Kazuha cries loudly, worrying Tomo who turn to hold him tight as well. Tomo: Hey, hey, it's okay... Kazuha: Gods, Tomo... Tomo: Sssht, it's okay, I'm here. I'm here, Kitten. Kazuha is still crying, so happy.

Wanderer: Now! Kazuha overcomes his surprise and get serious. Wanderer: Follow the bond you two share! Reach him ! Kazuha rush towards the light and try to reach it. Wanderer: Do not think about anything but him! Kazuha is crying and thinks : As if... it was even possible to think about anything else.
Kazuha jumps in the Irminsul code, reaching through the blinding light. Kazuha thinks: For you... I'll do everything. We can see two light reaching one another, one of them is bursting with electro and the other is blowing a tornado around them.
Transition page in Inazuma. The light of dawn rises, revealing the city of Ritou in the distance. Birds are chirping.
Kazuha wakes up, a bit confuse. He looks at his right hand and the that his scar is still there. The mark of Tomo's vision in his flesh has some kind of a broken heart in the center. His hand looks frail, it is badly damaged and covered with scars from an electric burn. Kazuha looks outside, feeling very down, no light in his eyes. He is disapointed and think: Just a dream... of course... Then he notices something and he is in shock.

Wanderer looks over his shoulder. Kazuha is shaking. Wanderer smiles, interested. Wanderer: Oh. I must admit... Then we see Kazuha silently crying but looking determined. Wanderer: That's a good look on you.
Transition page. We can see the Irmninsul. Kazuha: what do I have to do ? And how is that even possible? Wanderer: If ambition transcends death, then we can bring the source back you'll see. Follow me deep within and don't wander around. We're going into a very special place. Somewhere where the rules can be vent and twisted to your will. Don't worry there won't be any be any consequences for you. Believe me. Kazuha: Ok...
Wanderer is reaching the irminsul's code, rummage through it. Some errors are showing. A crack forms and triggers a gust of wind with numerous error signals. Wanderer doesn't move an inch but KAzuah is surprise et struggle a little against the wind.
A void is opening, the breach wanderer was talking earlier.

Wanderer: do not act like you didn't catch my words. I'm perfectly aware of how good your hearing is. Kazuha lowers his head, unsure of the right choice to make : But this is... We can't, it's not the natu-- Wanderer is cutting him off curtly: Don't you dare talking about the natural order of things when we have deepshit changing the rules whenever they feel like it! You know about me, about what I've done. You know about the archons, the heavenly principle. You know exactly how fucked up this world of illusion is. How many people end up scarred because of few assholes. I dare you to tell me your involvement in Inazuma was only because it was your home.
Wanderer: do you need me to repeat? Fine. The traveler need to make a breach, "breaking" the time line, some sort of error in the irminsul code. just like I did by erasing myself. I will just bring him back, not erase anyhthing. Kazuha stay still, silent. Wanderer shrungs with a smug. Wanderer : how disapointing. I thought you would seize the opportunity. After all if you fought in Inazuma, it was to free the nation because of your sweetheart. You did it because he challenged the throne with honor for your freedom. It was only natural that I thought about you two. While wanderer keep going, Kazuha is tense, hurt. Wanderer: I know you still ressent that bitch for his death. How much you still feel the unfairness of that situation. I'm in the wind. I heard your heart bursting with regrets. And I know why you're drinking and smoking naku weed so much everyday.
Wanderer shrug again and smile, confident. Kazuha is holding is scarred hand, silent. Wanderer: but maybe I was wrong. I won't bother you with that. You deserve your peace. Whatever form it takes for you. Good for you if you've managed to turn the page. Grief is not easy. Especially after mourning for 3 years. So congrats. Wanderer is turning around: I'm glad for you. If you need anything, as always, just call my name and I'll come. Have a good day, Kaz'. But Kazuha hold him back by saying a little "wait" with a trembling voice. Wanderer stop and smile with satisfaction, happy that Kazuha was finaly honest with his own wants and needs.

modern AU #tomokazu where Kazuha loose everything after his father killed himself because of the dept he has toward the Raiden bank. Kaedehara estate was taken. Since Kazuha had no other family that could want him and the foster family treat him like shit, he became homeless at 14-15 in Tokyo.
