Returned the Moog Matriarch to the store. A great sounding synth failed by shit firmware and sloppy sync.

Came home with a #Tonverk to make myself feel better.
Which is ironic as people were moaning like hell about the exact same thing when it came out.

Today I figured out, that the Tonverk sends midi and receives audio from any device, that you connect to the USB port. This pattern features sounds, which I autosampled from the Moog plugin with Tonverk.

Following on from my Roland SH-4d urge, I had a similar episode with the €1400 #Elektron #Tonverk. Should I get one? Expensive, no time stretching (yet?) Which got me exploring the $5 #KoalaSampler on iPad. It already has sample time stretching, seamless once you specify it's e.g. a 2-bar loop.
