Turns out during the MANUFACTURING process, the steel used to build the ⛴️ #hull was NOT good at handling cold weather & #ThermalCycling

🥶🔁🥵 ➡️ Steel became #brittle over ⏳
Eventually it got so brittle it just snapped under normal #torsional and/or #bending loads from 🌊 & normal 💦 operation!
