Interesting to see David Parker's resigned. I haven't had any time for him since he (from what I could see) single-handedly shoved the #TPPA / #CPTPPA ratification down Labour's throat after they campaigned against it. What a stupid thing for NZ to sign up to.
I do not trust the #USA anymore, I have written to my government imploring them to seek deeper cooperation with the #EU #UK #Australia #Canada and other #TPPA Partners.
They are clearly an empire in decline and we should let them pass before they drag us down with them
Protecting members of the #TPPA from predatory behaviour from #USA and later I will write again encouraging them to look at #EU suppliers for military equipment, if trusted allies are to be treated so disrespectfully we must act
#Australia just like #NZ needs to seriously consider it’s economy and security relationship with #America as they have proven beyond doubt they can no longer be trusted, as signatories to the #TPPA I have already written to my govt reps and asked for them to look at what actions we can take

Note I’m personally horrified at #Trumps treatment of #Canada as proud NZ citizen who is also a #TPPA member nation I’ve already written to my foreign affairs minister and shadow govt decrying unreliable #America & asking how we can support help you!
#EU #Canada and selected #TPPA countries could also improve their economic prospects by allowing freedom of movement and easier access to med term work visas
