A map created by Interurban Era in 2023 reimagining LRT for the East Bay. The top map is the original Key System map from the zenith of its coverage in 1911, the bottom map a scale-accurate rethinking of it to serve 21st century needs.
Here's a Map I created to rethink #LRT #Tranist in the East bay.
Primary job is connecting neighborhoods with BART, Ferries, Amtrak as well as possible. Feeder bus/tram lines not shown.
Each line has two important end points with a important place in the center. #BayArea #Oakland
