A pigeon with bright purple irridescent feathering sits in a flowerbed on the president clinton walking bridge over the arkansas river in little rock arkansas. The bird cocks its head to appear to be looking curiously at the viewer.
A roller skater skates in the sunset at the First Security amphitheater at Little Rock Arkansas River Market pavilion
Beams of orange light pierce through the clouds over the Arkansas State capitol and other skyrise buildings over Little Rock Arkansas
Two trees, a sculpture and a building are reflected in a window with mahogany wood trim. The tree in the background has bright green spring Buds bursting.
Spring is coming in very timid this year in #LittleRock #Arkansas - trying to squeak its way onto a stage that winter does not yet want to exit.
Even Sylvester the Pigeon, a regular on the President Clinton Bridge, is taking note.

Camera looks up from vantage point of photographers’s waste. The lower third of the frame is the photographers, red bra, and thin red chest hair. The photographers forearms moved to the center of the photograph where they hold a Fuji XT5 and a large 100 to 400 mm zoom lens The lens of the camera dissolves into a washed out white sky. The overall tone of the photograph is warm with the yellows and browns and reds dominating.
A skyscraper in Little Rock, Arkansas with reflecting windows at sunset. The peach and creamy yellow colors of the sunset bounce off of the bluish tinted windows, creating a green reflection on the skyscraper. The lighting operates to show an emerald city reflecting on the side of the skyscraper.
Images from a series, looking at the impact of non-places on the urban landscape. The scene is dominated by the lines squares and rectangles of buildings a downtown city. No sidewalk is visible. No sky is visible. The only evidence of humans in the picture is a tiny single car on a parking garage roof in the lower right hand corner of the frame… and a small US flag just to the left of center frame Empty parking garages dominate the image creating the illusion that a swath of parking garage cuts the city in half diagonally The piece is a criticism of the overuse of non-places in southern urban landscapes like Little Rock, Arkansas
Most of the image is a dark foggy gray sky. Just above into the left of center is a very small helicopter in flight. The helicopter is as small as it can be while still allowing an individual to recognize it as a care flight helicopter In the lower left corner of the frame is the dome of the Arkansas capital, with its gold spire, standing out against the gray fog just to the right of the Dome and American flag and an Arkansas flag wave on a flag pole The idea behind the image was to the suggest that there is no safe place for a helicopter, carrying a child whose life is in danger, to land in Arkansas.
Photographers document lives, we bear witness
But who bears witness to witnesses?
The photographer is never in the photo.
