I do think they did legato kinda dirty by not implementing his backstory. it would have been faszinating to see how they would interpret it. and on the other hand what about ninelives? did they die in the desert? did they get rescued? 1/2

Honestly a beautiful finale. I absolutely loved the connection Nai and Vash had together. The symbolism of abandonment and companionship threaded through the whole show and into the final relationships was beautiful

I think the show suffered severely from only being 12 episodes. You can't expect to squeeze 14 volumes of text into a little more than 4½ hours. I think switching directors was a bad move since they had less than 2 years to get everything done and try to worldbuild

面白いは面白いんだけど…画面がね。
綺麗で豪華なCG映像なんだけど、おじさんには何だか安っぽく見えてしまいます。
綺麗で豪華なのは分かるんだけど、毎回見ててすぐに飽きちゃう画面なんです。
キャラクター、ストリート、音楽は好きでした。
