Hat assembled! Still trying to settle on trim; but pleased with how it looks so far.

I adjusted my mock-up of #TrulyVictorian combinations #TV105, adding 1” at the waist and crotch. Yes my torso is suuuuper long. Next I’m going to #sew the sleeves and leg cuffs to see how they look. I’m loving how the shape looks on me and it feels very comfortable since there’s no waistband!
I wanted to make a straw hat to go with my plaid Victorian bustle. The black straw just arrived, and I’m thinking I’ll make the #trulyvictorian hat again. It turned out really well the first time I made a straw version. Now, do I want the hat accent fabric to be the yellow or burgundy?
Moving forward with outfit planning, and I keep coming back to this bonnet pattern. Accessories are NOT included in the sewing pause, so I can start work now. I have buckram and black silk. I’ll want something wine colored for under the brim.
