When Tumble decides it is break time, he means it.
We did get outside today and threw the ball until he got tired. He will run and run and run. And then just decide he is done and go to the house. Smart little boy.

Tumble claimed his spot, chilling in the chair with Grandpa. Really need to update his bandana. But I do like the green on him. He can pull off so many colors.

From yesterday (late posting). Tumble yields his cuteness expertly. He knows how to get what he wants and will give cuddles and nuzzles for extra attention.
The simple joy he brings my life is one of the best things in the world.

Accidentally kicked a ball under the TV stand, so had to get on the floor to clear it out. Found 3 others under there. Tumble has enjoyed this game of me trying to throw them on the recliner.

Tumble needs a little bit of a trim. His hair is getting unruly and sticks up when he has been nuzzling with Grandpa.

He is obsessed with the ball right now. Because we played outside. He brings the ball to me while I work. He stands in the next room and keeps dropping it so I hear the “thump thump thump.”

The temperature is much nicer and Tumble was thrilled to get out in the backyard for some ball time! I love how much joy he gets from chasing the ball!

Tumble loves to play ball, but at Grandpa’s house, his toys have a place. I gathered 3 of his balls and a couple other of his toys and tried to play with him tonight. He would chase the toy, and then immediately go put it away in his pet bed. He is very neat.

Tumble has been the focus of a bath from his brother this evening. Half of the fur on his face is wet and slicked back. The other half is unruly. Not sure Keeschka has a career as a stylist. But Tumble was patient.

He is more and more confident every day and now fully rules two houses - mine and Grandpa’s. To be a loved dog - what a sweet life.

Tumble had a nice day hanging out at Grandpa’s. The best part was when he snuggled in between Grandpa and the chair arm, and Grandpa scratched his ears for a couple hours. There were some sleepy/dreamy moments when he was fully relaxed.

Tumble had a fun filled day visiting Grandma. I tried to bounce the tennis ball over him at one point, and it bounced up into his face. I felt so bad. But he was okay and then we had a giggle over how badly it bounced. He kept chasing the ball though and needed a rest after.

A coworker sent this to me today because it reminded her of Tumble.
Who, by the way, is still getting booked hamburgers mixed with his dinner. He really likes it. And I am making it fresh every night.

GOTCHA day! 3 years with Tumble and I have loved every minute. He now understands this home is his place, Mom just pays the mortgage. He loves his big kitty brother. His grandpa is his favorite person. And Grandma’s house is the best place to play ball
& get treats!

Tumble was a cautious, careful, and a bit frightened little boy when I met him 3 years ago today. He was so sweet and good, but he didn’t know he was safe yet. I am so happy he came to my home. Tomorrow is his gotcha day and we will celebrate.

My cuddle bug still is demanding his supper has freshly boiled hamburger or chicken mixed in. He doesn’t need it anymore. But he sure does like it.

After spending the weekend with Grandpa, Tumble now thinks it is his duty to demand time outside to sit on the back step and demurely the yard. He came inside and then stared me down for 10 minutes to go back out.

The primary reason I took an extra day off was to spend it with my boys. They have been extra cuddly today. It has been nice.
