As a child Yuui lost her mother & grew up only with her father. In middle school she had an awful bullying experience but was able to overcome it. She had a paceful life in HS until she walked through a level crossing and a black carriage appeared in front of her before the train hit her

She didn't plan to do it cause she was convinced Floyd would reject her, but it happened anyway. As she thought, Floyd rejected at first, but her confession made him realize he might feel the same for her & that thought freaked him out

Yuui was terrified to fall in love again (awful past relationship), so she kept denying her feelings for Floyd. Until one day she tries to express her feelings in a song & after singing it to herself she realizes she's in love for real and accepts wholeheartedly her feelings for Floyd

Floyd: "So this's the kid from another world? Haha! Interesting"

After episode 3 Yuui starts to work part-time in Mostro Lounge so she and Floyd start to interact more. She get's drawn to him cause she's interested on ppl with unique personalities-(cont)
