The shift to #stablecoin for settling plus the activity of debt & asset aggregators who only settle the differences, reduces the actual demand for backing USD by several orders of magnitude. So what's left is the psychological #unit_of_account function:

Then #USD by 2027 ceases to be seen as a viable deep liquid flight asset. The #IOU is worthless or prone to be paid only in other #freedom_unit, i.e. bunker busters or boots.
