“Globalised economic development has cut like a knife through our human relationships and through our connections to the living world. Rural communities and smaller towns have been destroyed, as people have been forced to seek employment in urban centres. This, in turn, has led to mass […]

Fascism doesn’t summon hate. It grooms despair. It identifies the wound, and then it infects it. By the time the hunt begins, the scapegoat already believes he’s the shepherd.
This is the point of hierarchy and why patriarchalcapitalism has been the domination system for so long.
Gaslighting […]

Humans have set themselves apart from the universe. We are not really in control as we think. We're denying and working hard at them. We are distracting ourselves.
In doing so, we procede to traumatise our species and the ecology of which we are a part.
We/I/you have choices we/you/I have […]

Let us all stand for #Unityindiversity on a planetary scale beyond national sovereignty. A now outmoded model of governance & the main barrier to the rule of international law. #universaleducation #universalequality #planetaryjustice […]

It's interesting that politicisation of language causes division. I'm thinking of the term mutual aid, a term coined by Peter Kropotkin in 1902. admittedly, he used it to support anarchist philosophy.
My point is that many of his historical arguments supporting mutual aid also support later work […]

A direction or colour of politics causes more division. I realise it is naive to not "talk about politics," but we can talk about it differently in the sense we can not add to that division.
If a conversation subject causes friction, that's ok. It's how we learn and, more importantly, how we […]

Fight injustice, not people.
The people aren’t the problem — the problem is the problem. Try to approach conflict by solving the problem rather than attacking or blaming others.

Our "leaders" keep talking about levelling up, why not level down, doh silly me.
Levelling up another term implying endless growth to so many other myths of economics & politics, the two are inseparable.

Regulation at this point would help, but that at some point down the road gets lost, intentionally or otherwise.
We are all complicit in system of domination. The media is just one tool in this system. We each have a choice on where we find our news. I realise that choice is limited […]

Representative democracy was biased from the start. It was invented by the elite to make the majority believe they have a voice.
I would suggest there is no one answer, but a synergy of frameworks, an example: the partnership of Eisler with the economics of Raworth with deep ecology of Macy and […]

The law making process in many (all?) Representative democracies is there to protect a minority, the lawmakers.
It rarely protects or supports the majority i.e. the oppressed […]
