freezers seem to be either last for ever or problematic. I bought a Frigidaire upright about 8 years ago. 3 years in the t-stat went out, lost everything, replaced and was fine until yesterday morning it was 31! defrost board bad. caught it in time to move stuff. parts come today #unnecessarystress
