The image shows an an early photograph of a nude woman sitting in profile with her head turned away from the viewer. She has been cut out from the original image's background – creating a central shape in the composition. This shape is outlined in red. Her same image, much smaller, is repeated 24 times to form a ring around her central image. The repetition of image and the central image are on a grided background that is muted brown tones. The style echos the look and feel of the early still photographic motion studies of American photographer, Eadweard Muybridge (1830-1904). Attached to the surface of the painting are 4 embroidery hoops. The hoops create a allusion to motion. They advance toward the viewer yet they remain static – frozen in time. At the bottom of the work an image of a dancer from the Ziegfeld Follies is repeated horizontally 6 times to form a row. The Ziegfeld Follies was a dance troupe that ran from 1907-1957 in the United States. Her image has been cropped from the hips up. She holds a ring-like hoop behind her head and back. This position creates the look of a halo which echos the suspended embroidery hoops. Above this row of dancers there is another horizontal row of 3 physical wood boxes. In each box is a wooden ball. Each ball is a unique color. The left ball is a muted orange, the center ball os a muted yellow-green, and the last ball on the right is a muted yellow. Around the entire image a red line frames the image. The illusion of pins holding and suspending the line create trompe l'oeil effect. The entire composition balances frenetic images while relying on a static structure to contradict the motion created by the artist.

New artwork by American artist, Marty Hardin. The image shows a dimensional construction built within a black cigar box that is built to emulate traveling alters that were used by the wealthy in the early European Renaissance era. On the left panel is a cut-out of a religious painting of Saint Sebastian who was wounded by arrows. Opposite, in the right compartment, are two Victorian stereoscopic card images of a young woman holding a bow and arrow depicting the Roman goddess, Diana – who was also the Greek goddess, Artemis. Their arrows are pointed at the image of Saint Sebastian. There are also physical metal arrows suspended, they are also pointing at the image of Saint Sebastian. In the back ground is a lunar cycle chart – a reference to Artemis who was often depicted with a moon on or above her head. Both versions of the goddess were communicated to be hunters and were almost always depicted holding a bow and arrow.
