A small yard urban flower garden, kind of messy, with masses of creeping thyme in full glorious purple bloom, some purple Veronica, pink and white peonies nearing the end of their bloom cycle, with yellow sunflowers and a wee blue delphinium lurking in the background behind bursts of rogue orange globeflowers that leapt their original planting areas. Nestled among the flowers, a stone birdbath, a few aged red bricks, and some weather beaten ceramic chunks resembling nothing more than smoky cream and grey chunks of bones (but they’re ceramics, leftovers from an arresting art show years ago.)
The bees are happy and that helps tremendously. Also featuring garden art by @paulboultbee.bsky.social affectionately known as Burnt Severed Deer Legs (it’s vegan art, calm down).
