Good morning, Citizens! Well we got a dusting of new snow overnight and Lawrence Public Schools are closed again today. I think #USD497 is going to have to start building more days into the school calendar if they're going to keep cancelling at this rate.

Winter break continues for the school children of #USD497 here in Lawrence, Kansas.

I suggest that all able-bodied parent, guardian, and child over the age of 16 grab a shovel and start clearing walkways for #USD497. Parents and children aren’t meant to spend this much time together.
