My designs for the fallen children laying in coffins. From left to right is aimee, jackie, dove, lilac, jade, and also clover uty. Their left hand is raised to their chin and they wear a troubled expression. Dove bends their elbow to rest the back of their head on their arm, looking somewhat bored. Their coffin is full of white and yellow dandelions. Lilac lays in a glass coffin with cracks. There is dirt and lilac flowers dispersed within the coffin. Their arms are crossed and their hands rest on the opposite arm. Jade clutches their right elbow with their left hand. Their coffin has embers and hibiscus flowers. Clover’s coffin resembles the area in which they gave up their soul, made up of gray bricks, pink petals, and clovers. Their hat obscures most of their face and their hands meet over their chest.

My interpretations of the integrity and kindness souls, Lilac and Jade, are sat at a table by a window in a dinner. Lilac is in a purple reflective jacket. They stare haphazardly at a menu. Jade, who is seated across from Lilac, is in their diner uniform. They lazily rest their head against their arm while slouched on the table. Their eyes are trained on Lilac. The window beside the two children’s table overlooks a view of Mt. Ebott. Lilac: Some kid from my family dissapeared on that mountain, actually. Jade: Really? The scene changes from Lilac and Jade to a flashback panel. It shows three kids exploring the inside of a cave which overlooks the entrance to the underground. On the left, two of them can been seen excitedly running around to explore. On the right, Lilac’s relative can be seen sitting at the edge of the hole absentmindedly letting their leg hang above the abyss. Their focus is completely on the hole. Lilac narrates over the flashback panel: Supposedly, one day they decided to go up there with their friends. But their friends were the only ones to come back down. Jade: What happened?? Were they murdered? As Jade asks that question, they sit up from their slouched position and move to rest their chin on their hands. Lilac takes a moment to ponder their response. While doing so, they cross their arms over their chest and peer off to the side. Lilac: There was a lot of discourse about that. Their friends claim their memories got fuzzy after climbing. But it seems like they jumped on their own. Jade: What do you think was going their head? The panel following that question shows Lilac’s reflection in the window glancing at Mt. Ebott.
