Some interesting life from my walk-through a waste area. Life abounds when people get out of the way. 😂 in #VaraderoCuba.

Been in #VaraderoCuba for 12 days n have been looking for snorkeling tours. ‘Course just before I leave I find 1 that goes off the beach at my hotel. It was a sandy bottom w soft corals: pretty amazing. I hope to be posting pictures of what I saw later! (noticed the 4 boats, and ask the bartender…)

Went for an amazing (and amazingly inexpensive) lobster dinner last night at Melaito Cafe just down the street from my hotel, Los Delphines, in #VaraderoCuba. INCREDIBLE music and the lobster was perfect – the best I’ve had in the tourist strip here!

This Mexican Tarantula-Hawk Wasp, Little Yellow, Anhinga and Yellow-throated Warbler were only four of the amazing creatures I saw yesterday in #VaraderoCuba and at the nearby ecological reserve. Absolutely worth the trip.

Yesterday, about an hour from #VaraderoCuba a friend took me snorkeling into some caves and across some reefs. What we saw was absolutely incredible! I was also fed an incredible seafood dinner! Thank you Agueda Galán & Manuel Labrada! I have posted videos on my Instagram and Facebook feed. Find me.
