On this day 397 years ago the Swedish warship #Vasa sank on her maiden voyage in #Stockholm harbour. The wreck today is in a museum after being recovered along with all her amazing artefacts in the 1950s, I had the opportunity to visit her on two occasions in 2018 and 2019. #vasamuseet #shipwreck

We woke up this morning at midnight (Atlanta time) and will arrive home at about 6pm. Stockholm was under the impression it was winter, not spring! Wait until you see the pics of the gigantic wooden ship from the early 17th century which sank and was raised 333 years later. #Vasamuseet #Stockholm

We visited the example of historic #Swedish #ProjectManagement: a project that was constantly being changed and expanded after it had started, and no one objected or questioned the changes. In the end, the project sunk, literally.
