Our community quilt, Vermie, is complete! Since the last block was added, we’ve pieced, quilted, and finished it and we’re thrilled to announce Vermie will be featured in Portland Textile Month this October.

The finished Vermie Iterations mini quilt hangs from the white wall, described in detail in previous posts. This is 21” square, containing 49 3” blocks, each printed in brightly colored squiggle design that connects  from one block to the next. There is a .25” binding sewn around the perimeter of quilt made from thrifted shirts. This quilt is quilted in a bias grid pattern, diagonally intersecting each square perfectly.
