How lovely to have the level headed #vicderbyshire hosting #BBCLauraK today, she should be on every Sunday! Unfortunately, the programme editor, Diana Martin won’t let this happen while she’s in charge and you can’t complain to Newswatch because she edits that too!!
The exchange between #TuckerCarlson and #VicDerbyshire was terrific. They stood up to each other, and however bonkers his views, she deserves credit for going toe to toe.

But to be fair, it wasn’t that difficult. He was incoherent & unable to justify any position he or Reform have ever adopted.
He repeatedly said one thing & then reversed as soon as it was questioned.

There is something deeply disturbing about the fact that #vicderbyshire is presenting the message so clearly, while #StephenMorgan had to struggle through a hostile hectoring "but minister"interview from her colleague this morning.
Your mistake was tuning in to #bbclaurak and #BBC in the first place and expecting political journalism. That ship sailed long ago. (With the exception of #vicderbyshire )
Watching Nadine Dorries make an abject show of herself is never a difficult watch. When #Vicderbyshire is interviewing, even more so. But I have to ask what possible editorial value there is to using her as a contributor of any expertise or authority. The BBC should be better than a rentagob.
