Snowboard Sunday
1989 Avalanche Bumps 165.
There was a time when riding moguls were a thing in snowboarding. The Avalanche Bumps was designed with that in mind. It’s got the same shape as the Kick, but I’m not sure how they’re different.

Snowboard Sunday
1989 Avalanche Kick 165.
This one is my old KICK 165 from BITD. After multiple paint jobs on it, the OG graphics were shot. A couple years ago I decided to do some custom graphics based on some of the early KICK prototypes.

Snowboard Sunday
1989 Avalanche Kick 163.
The Kick 165 was my third board. Damian Sanders signature model with classic late 80s graphics. It remains one of those vintage boards that I just want to keep buying.

Snowboard Sunday
1988 Sims Kidwell 1650.
The 1986 Sims Kidwell was a game changer with a rounded kick tail. The ‘88 version continues that heritage.
It also has a huge amount of rocker. A camber profile that Gnu/Lib Tech would invent decades later.
