Three framed dark grey shallow reliefs set side by side in a brick wall. The top of the frame and the two dividers are concrete. In the left frame is a man sitting on the ground, back against the left side of the frame, hunched over, right arm resting on his right knee, right palm up, left hand over the right, with some sort of fringed cloth hanging from his hands. In the middle frame there are two people kneeling, each with one foot flat and one on toe tip, leaning in from the sides of the frame with an easel between them. Both figures have one hand on the easel. In the right frame is another figure sitting on the ground, back straight against the right side of the frame, head tilted forward, a hammer in the right hand and what might be two pieces of wood in his left.

Marble relief sculpture mounted on a red brick wall. The alchemist is sitting with his back to the right, looking to the left, his knees bent and higher than his waist. His head is covered and he is wearing long robes and a stole or scarf over his left shoulder that reaches down past his feet. His elbows are bent. His left hand is up, palm facing the camera. His left hand is holding what looks like a ball attached by a hose to a lidded pot on top of a table.

The top side is slanted at about a 45 degree angle high on the left and low on the right. Mounted on top of that, running from near the bottom to about a story above the angled top (3 stories total) is a column of rocks in a wire frame. The bottom of the column is an equilateral triangle pointing to the right . On the right, separated from the form on the left by a column of square windows are two forms, each approximately one story high. The bottom is a flat arrowhead shape pointing slightly up and to the right, mounted on top of a smaller flat square which is visible at the bottom right as another equilateral triangle. The top form has an open topped frame of pipes, the bottom of which is higher than and overlaps the two side pipes. Inside the frame is a flat horizontal rectangle and mounted completely within that rectangle is another irregularly shaped wire frame filled with rocks.
