Left to my own devices this afternoon, and decided I really fancied a diet coke, so thought I'd walk to the pub.

Not the one a couple of hundred metres round the corner - no, that would be far too easy. Instead, a 5-mile round walk to the next village. Because why not...?

A blustery one for today's #wednesdaymorningwander so opted for a shorter stroll at Southey Woods. Keeping to the trees cut out a lot of the wind!

Luckily more sunshine than showers, and trails definitely drying out so quite an easy woodland wander 😊
