The Permian-age Toroweap & Coconino Sandstone exposed at Fisher Point on Walnut Creek SE of Flagstaff, Arizona. The relief here is ~170 feet. The rocks are flat-lying; the apparent dip of the Coconino Sandstone is because the sands were deposited in large sand dunes. #sandstone #WalnutCanyon
