With Karl attending we scheduled some #Wargamebootcamp #boardgame events. I recruited some non-wargamers for the Vietnam themed pseudo RPG Purple Haze, including a father & son duo. They had a fun time.Last game of the day was The Other Side of the Hill by NAC Wargames. Thanks to Karl for teaching.
Although I was there as part of the #WargameBootcamp I did get to play test an upcoming game for Revolution Games. This was Tankschlacht on the #WW1 battle of Cambrai in November 1917. I played the British side, of course. Half of my tanks broke down by the end of the first day but I had unleashed the cavalry who were in the vanguard by day 2. To green fields beyond!
I even managed to get the rulebook for Campaign Manager 2008 autographed by co-designer Jason Matthews.
