The start of the battle. Word Bearers VS Imperial Fists. Both armies move forward, pass the great "temples" of the Emperor. Titans hold back in support.
An Imperial Fist Predator squadron engages and destroys a group of enemy tanks from a distance with well placed shots.
Later in the battle, carnage is all that is left. Tank wrecks are scattered, the Warhound Titans get up close and personal to their counterparts. Yet the Word Bearer infantry have reached the rear lines of the IF.
End of the battle. Only one loyalist Titan is standing, most of the IF tanks are burning wrecks, as are all of the Word Bearer tanks. However, nearly all of the IF infantry are dead, and the Word Bearers spread out to hunt down the survivors. This battle is over, but the war is only just beginning...
A #LegionImperialis game played a few months back. It was my friend and my first game of it, and it was amazing! Just so much chaos and destruction, the titans were great fun to use. So glad GW actually supports it still with new models.
