Starting with our man, Gusher Barkgarde, aka Dribble’s dad. Right away you can tell where Dribble got most of his physical genes from. Gusher is a relatively laidback bulldog who despite everything, always tries to see the good in everyone and everything. As a former pilot and avid conspiracy theorist, he showed Dribble early on in his life about the wonders of flight, space, and life beyond, contributing to Dribble’s fascination over space and galaxies. Gusher’s lifelong dream had always been coming into contact with aliens. Unfortunately, he never managed to fly higher than the sky. Now a retired and divorced pilot, he spends most of his time enjoying his hobbies (observing the night sky, polishing up his old plane). Dribble soon plans to show Orbulon off to his dad to fulfill his lifelong dream of contacting an alien, since he’s worried at some point it might become too late for that
Up next is Salina, Dribble’s mom. While Dribble may have inherited his looks from his dad, his passion and energy came from his mom. Unlike Gusher’s relatively passive temperament, Salina is a head-strong and self-assured beagle; once she starts, no one can stop her. Her defining trait is always looking for new and different experiences, never really settling on something or someone for long. As such she’s worked at god knows how many jobs and is a bit of a heartbreaker. Even after having Dribble, she takes caution as a mere suggestion; Gusher can’t count how many times he’s had to stop her from almost getting Dribble in dangerous situations. Her and Gusher’s marriage definitely stood strong for a long time, however eventually the flame fizzled out in their marriage and they fell out of love. A rare instance where she actually felt hesitant over moving on from something. To this day, she and Gusher still talk on good terms, just not as much. Dribble has tried giving her advice that he learned from Spitz in order to teach her how to be less, well, impulsive to say the least.
Lastly, the newcomer (ehhh) of the family, Ginger; born and raised in a family of researchers and scientists, along with nature. Ginger has lived her life learning thru observing everything around her, which while made her incredibly adaptive to her surroundings and emotionally intelligent, unfortunately made her socially inept. Over the years she has definitely gotten better at talking to others, but she’s approximately got the same social skills as Orbulon. A couple years before the present day, when she was at the park taking in the air, a someone sat beside her and interrupted her moment of peace due to them arguing to someone at the phone before annoyingly hanging up. Said someone was of course Salina, who noticed Ginger staring and although at first reacted with offense over the “eavesdropping”, took less than 5 seconds before she caved and complained about her problems. Ginger simply listened and nodded, afterwards Salina told her that she liked her vibe and asked her out on the spot. She reluctantly agreed; years later and they got married. Dribble doesn’t really know her that well since by then he was already busy with life as a grown bulldog.
Moving onto our final addition, Liva Clawford (yes like saliva), aka Spitz’ father and only immediate family. Prior to moving to Diamond City, not much is known about him nor his upbringing. He just showed up one day many years ago looking to get a fresh start in life. Highly reclusive, relatively stoic, and valuing his privacy, nobody really knows anything about Liva other than surface level stuff. He started working at a regular boring ol’ office job and soon rose up to become manager of said job. If you were to ask his employees or coworkers about him, they’d all tell you the same thing: despite his size, he has this strange yet great aura of confidence and going against him would be ill-advised. Thanks to his intellect and skill in planning, he managed to rise to the top position shockingly fast. However, that’s as much info about him as you could get. Because so little is known about him, he’s been subject to various rumors and gossip. Some believe he worked in an undercover agency or a retired hitman before moving in to Diamond City with a new identity. Others believe he got away from his supposed “rich and powerful family” in order to avoid taking the position as its successor. There’s even rumors that Spitz isn’t actually his son!! None of these can neither be confirmed nor denied for certain. One thing that can be confirmed is his love and care for Spitz, wanting him to live a normal (normal as in Warioware universe normal) and happy life, something which he may have not had the fortune to have had. Although, Dribble can’t help but feel a little fearful of him…
