I loved every minute of both days of #warningtothecurious but my favorite workshop was almost certainly the hour long mini game jam we did with ABS. Not only was this the most confident I felt participating all weekend (I don't have a history or literature degree but I AM a ttrpg writer) [1/3]

Having started the week touring medieval churches in Suffolk, and ended it at the #WarningToTheCurious conference, I think it is fair to say that I am now as steeped in M.R. James as the mortal soul can bear.

The Archives & Archaeology panel at RtG was SO interesting. I was chairing so I’ll have to write a summary later. ALL the panels have been interesting. An embarrassment of archaeological & hauntological riches w a healthy dose of Shirley Jackson as cherry on top for Day 1. #WarningToTheCurious

My favourite thing of this conference so far was today's keynote, which suggests that MR James and my favourite medieval monk, Ælfric of Eynsham, would probably completely agree on how to treat old manuscripts while butting heads on theology #WarningToTheCurious
