"𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘰?" The newest episode absolutely had me going insane. I had early access like a lot of others and technically had this concept sketched a day after I listened, so I actually had it sitting for a while. I just recently colored it, but with the status of my tablet, things have been slightly delayed. Sorry if it's a bit messy. SPOILERS: I am still not okay after listening to Gordon's panic attack. Alan Mandel is an incredible actor and this scene was devastating. The way Warren held onto Gordon and whispered/spoke gently to him...ough, I'm still recovering. I had a lot of time to work with this and best of all, I had the official cover art by the amazing Noah Dao to work with their outfits from this scene. This piece was a lot of fun, and now that I've captured the way it looked in my head, I have to go cry in a ball all over again :) Warren Godby and Gordon Porlock belong to the Red Valley team.

Warren Godby and Gordon Porlock, employees from Overhead Industries, a company that totally doesn't have some shady secrets. I decided to create my own design for S1 Warren and Gordon, back before shit hit the fucking fan and when they first met. I'm still tampering with it, but I'm really loving what I've got so far. Warren looks so alive and normal, while Gordon looks like such a nerd. My Gordon design is hilarious, because I like to think that since he used to be in a metal band, he just takes his greasy hair and ties it up to look professional. (hence why he still has his ear gauges.) This is why my Gordon is a bit muscular and larger frame? Ex-bass player, straight out of university, working as an Archivist, greasy man.

This fucking scene had me rolling when I first heard it. Gordon REALLY trying to get Warren to SWEAR over and over again that he's never heard of Red Valley (because he's onto the company's fucking secrets) while getting progressively more intense and Warren's just like, "Can you take your hand off my knee...?"

Warren Godby belongs to the RedValley team. I created this quick concept of a look for Warren while at his (forceful) stay at Red Valley. I mentioned before how I believe his beard gets more full ...and maybe his hair gets more messy too? So I really wanted to see if I could sketch it out. I always imagined him to have a more rough/tired look to his face...hm. My Warren design is still a work in progress. Onwards.

My character design for Warren Godby from the podcast, Red Valley. My head kinda hurts tonight, but I managed to do a quick Warren sketch. I apologize that it's a bit messy. I'm pretty happy with my Gordon design, however, I'm really practicing and hoping to get a proper look for my Warren. I'm really trying to get a proper hair design down, but I think I'm nailing that stern, tired look that I always imagined he has. I'm still going to give it a few more tries. Oh well, enjoy.
